Technical Features

All Sea to Summit Dry Bags, Stuff Sacks and Compression Sacks use a durable water repellent finish that is Non-PFC.

An incredibly lightweight yet durable fabric used in a large number of Sea to Summit products. The 30 denier bluesign Approved nylon is made with CORDURA® yarns for strength. A Non-PFC DWR finish on the outer face helps to shed water.
The inside is polyurethane-coated – in dry bags, the seams are seam-taped.
The hydrostatic head is greater than 2000mm – more than adequately waterproof for the types of environments Ultra-Sil dry bags, stuff sacks and compression sacks are intended for.

Frequently Asked questions
Is this compression sack a good tent storage bag?
Perhaps. Carrying the tent canopy in your pack (with the poles under the compression straps) is a great idea. However - the canopy may not compress that much.
Is this compression sack worth the weight and cost?
Once you have experienced modular packing with ultralight compression sack you’ll wonder how you ever lived without them.
Is this compression sack waterproof?
No, this compression sack is only water resistant. The seams are not tape-sealed and the top does not have a roll-top closure, so it's possible for water to get inside.
