Sea to Summit designs and builds gear that is meant to be put to the test, wherever your adventures take you. We guarantee our products against defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

OUR GUARANTEE
The Sea to Summit Guarantee is our promise to guarantee our products against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the lifetime of the product. We choose the highest quality materials, build to the most exacting manufacturing standards, and rigorously test our products so we can deliver on this promise. We offer this guarantee to the original owner, with proof of purchase from an authorized Sea to Summit reseller, for the intended life of the product under normal use. The only exception to the Sea to Summit Guarantee is for products which are intended for use in situations which result in higher rates of wear and tear, which is why they have a limited warranty duration. In these cases, the duration of the warranty is clearly marked on the packaging and on our website.
This guarantee does not include damage due to improper use or care, accident, or negligence. This guarantee also excludes normal wear and tear and the breakdown of materials due to age, use, or environmental conditions.
Our liability for warranty claims will be limited to repair, replacement, or credit. The Sea to Summit Guarantee does not cover damage to products that are not Sea to Summit products but are stored in or used in conjunction with our products. All warranty decisions are left to the discretion of the Warranty & Returns Department.
Sea to Summit will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages resulting from a warranty claim, and in no event will Sea to Summit’s aggregate liability exceed the price paid for the product. Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
Please click on the ‘Warranty, Repair, or Spare Part Request Form’ link at the top of the page or below. Select ‘Warranty, Repair, or Spare Part’ in the drop down. Please be as thorough as possible in your submission including details and images of the product and warranty issue. A customer service representative will contact you as soon as possible and we will respond to requests in the order we receive them.
If you have additional questions, you can also call us at 303-440-8977 from within the United States and Canada (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm, Mountain Standard Time). The Sea to Summit offices are closed on all federal holidays, the Friday after Thanksgiving and between 12/25 and 12/31. HOW TO REQUEST ASSISTANCE WITH A REPAIR OR SPARE PART
Sea to Summit firmly believes in sustainability. We make every effort to maintain our gear, as well as assist you in maintaining your gear so it provides many years of service before being retired. Many issues can be resolved by replacing a damaged component, as we maintain a well-stocked spare parts department. If you need a Sea to Summit spare part, use the contact form on this page and select ‘Warranty, Repair, or Spare Part Request’ from the dropdown.
Often we find simple repairs to our products will yield many years of additional life. If your gear requires repair, please follow the same process from above and we will contact you with details of the return process. Once we have evaluated the item, we will let you know the likely cost of repair and the expected turnaround time. Sea to Summit endeavors to keep the costs of repair as low as possible, and charges only for the labor and materials used.

Our Process
- Fill out our warranty request form. We will evaluate the item/circumstances and coordinate with one of our partners based on the services needed and proximity. If your repair falls outside of our warranty policy, feel free to use the links above to contact one of our partners for a personal repair.
- Our team will provide direction based on the product, availability of repairs, and other factors - feel free to mention an interest in repair possibilities when you submit your claim.
- Once repair is confirmed as the best solution, we will provide shipping labels and coordinate with the relevant service center.
