Crafted from 304 stainless steel, the Detour pan has an aluminum layer built into the base for efficient heat distribution. A large-radius curve between the base and sidewalls matches Sea to Summit utensils for easy frying or sautéing, and makes cleanup really simple. A Click-Safe handle gives you perfect control, and can be reversed when stowing the pan.

Is the pan dishwasher safe?
No - the pan handle attachment point is hard anodized and is not dishwasher safe.
Does the Detour frying pan have a non-stick finish?
No - the surface is polished stainless steel. Use more oil than with a non-stick pan and keep the heat a little lower.
Will the pan work on an induction stove?
Yes - the Detour Pan is induction compatible
What is a 'three-ply base'?
The base is a sandwich of stainless steel (for durability) and aluminum (for heat distribution) for the perfect cooking experience
