Frequently Asked questions

Can you use an XLite Kettle on a 2-burner stove?

You can. Keep the flame pattern inside the ring printed on the base of the kettle and avoid the space next to the windshield - it's a hot spot. Handles must be vertical.

Can the XLite Cups withstand boiling water?

They can. The nylon and silicone have much higher melting points than the boiling point of water.

Does an ultralight hiker need a kettle?

The Kettle has a wide rim: it's perfect as a solo pot for all water-based cooking - and it's much easier to pour from than most pots when making tea or coffee.
