Description
The Nano Mosquito Pyramid Net Shelter is the perfect piece of protection for the buggiest of adventures. Ultra-Vis 15D mesh is exceptionally light and offers great visibility and air flow. The asymmetric shape means the apex of the pyramid is closer to the head end for more usable space. An elasticized hem tucks under your sleeping mat or mattress for a secure fit (lift up the side to enter or exit – the Nano Pyramid Net Shelter does not have a zippered door). Colored tapes at each corner and a single suspension point ensure easy setup, plus the hexagonal mesh with 500 holes per inch provides good airflow.
Technical Features
Sea to Summit’s Mosquito Shelters and standard Headnets are made of a custom mesh with 500 holes per square inch (80 holes per cm²).
This allows for optimum airflow, and makes the shelters / headnets ideal for use in warmer climates.
Note – this mesh is not no-see-um proof. For use in latitudes where no-see-ums, sandflies and midges are common, a mesh with 2000 holes per square inch (310 holes / cm²) is necessary – see the Ultra-Fine Mesh Headnet.

Frequently Asked questions
Be suspended underneath a tarp?
Probably not. Tarps generally don't have a central point from which the Mosquito Pyramid Shelter could be hung, and the height of the shelter would require pitching the tarp a long way from the ground. Our recommendation would be the Escapist Inner Bug Tent.
Be treated with permethrin?
Yes. A spray-on or wash-in permethrin treatment will not harm the shelter's materials.
Net Shelters Please note:
The Mosquito Pyramid Shelter is designed to be suspended from a hostel/hotel room ceiling. It does not have poles or a frame.
Protect against no-see-ums?
No. 500 holes per square inch is great for mosquitos and most other bugs, but no-see-ums require a mesh with at least 1200 holes per square inch. A no-see-um net material will have reduced airflow as a result.
