Description
The eVac Dry Sack utilizes 70D lightweight nylon fabric for strength, and air-permeable eVent® waterproof fabric on the base. The eVent fabric lets you squeeze air out of the dry sack for more efficient space utilization inside a backpack. Pack your compressible items – sleeping bags, insulated clothing – into the eVac Dry Sack, roll the roll-top closure down, then squeeze the sack to push the air out. This function allows you to fit items into your pack or travel bag more effectively. They're an oval shape, making them perfect for sliding into the contours of your pack, plus all seams are double stitched and tape-sealed.
Pro-tip: sitting on a packed eVac Dry Sack is the best way to squeeze the air out – then pack the eVac Dry Sack into a tight space in your bag or pack so it does not draw itself full of air again.

Technical Features

Super tough, super pliable, high thread-count 70 Denier fabrics. The PU coating is highly waterproof (rated to 10,000mm hydrostatic head), and is colored bright white to make it easy to find your gear inside these bags.

eVent™ fabric is an air-permeable, waterproof laminate used in two different functional areas in Sea to Summit products:
- In the base of our best-selling eVent Compression Dry Sacks, Evac Dry Sacks and Ultra-Sil™ Compression Dry Sacks. In this application, the laminate utilizes a 40 denier nylon face fabric: the material allows air to be pushed out of the dry sack/compression dry sack but prevents water from entering. This means you can compress the air out of a dry sack without needing a purge valve! In the upper section of our Quagmire and Alpine Gaiters. In this application, the laminate utilizes a 70 denier nylon face fabric. The material allows perspiration to pass through easily but prevents external water from entering. The result: waterproof protection and superior breathability!

Frequently Asked questions
Waterproof?
The body of the dry bag is more than adequately waterproof (10,000 mm hydrostatic head) – just avoid submersion, as water can seep through the roll-top closure of any dry bag.
Suitable for paddle sports?
Absolutely. The tough nylon material is perfectly suited to watersports use – be cautious around sharp objects or abrasive surfaces.
Good for modular packing in a backpack?
Yes! Use them for all compressible items, squeeze the air out then pack the dry sack into a tight space so it doesn't draw air back in. Perfect for sleeping bags and insulated clothing.
