Frequently Asked questions

Which type of pump do I need with this mat?

Pursuit pads have a foam core which draws itself full of air. Add a couple of breaths to bring the mat up to operating pressure. If you want to use a pump, the Airstream Pumpsack will fit the XPEL Valve.

Will the Rectangular Regular work with my sleeping bag that has a sleeve for a pad on the bottom?

The Regular Rectangular Pursuit is 64cm / 25" wide. We recommend measuring your sleeping bag to ensure a fit.

What's the difference between the Pursuit and the Pursuit Plus?

Pursuit is 5cm thick, Pursuit Plus is 7.5cm thick. Choose the Pursuit if weight is your primary criterion and Pursuit Plus if comfort (and more insulation) are most important to you.
