Evac Heavy Duty Compression Dry Bag

Evac fabric is an air-permeable, waterproof laminate used in Sea to Summit Evac Dry Storage products: 

• Evac Compression Dry Bags UL, Evac Compression Dry Bags LW and Evac Dry Bags LW. This laminate utilizes a 70 Denier nylon face fabric with a non-PFAS DWR finish. 
• Evac Compression Dry Bags HD. This laminate utilizes a 500 Denier Cordura nylon face fabric with a non-PFAS DWR finish.

In both cases, the laminate allows air to be pushed out of the dry bag/compression dry bag but prevents water from entering. This means you can compress the air out of a dry bag without needing a purge valve. (A purge valve adds weight and complexity, and may fail or accidently be left in the 'open' position).

Sea to Summit sleeping bag fabrics and insulation are made without PFAS compounds. The non-PFAS DWR finish on the shell helps prevent the insulation from becoming damp if the bag comes into contact with moisture, such as tent wall condensation.Ultra-Dry Down is a non-PFAS hydrophobic treatment that absorbs less moisture and dries more quickly. It does not affect the 'breathability' or the lifespan of the down and lasts through at least 20 washings. The down used in our sleeping bags is responsibly sourced.Sea to Summit Dry Bags, Stuff Sacks and Compression Bags use a non-PFAS Durable Water Repellent finish to help shed water. Big River bags use a non-PFAS PU coating.

This Non-PFC, rugged and durable fabric is used in our Big River Dry Bags and Drypacks, eVac Compression Dry Bags HD, SUP Deck Bag and other paddle accessories. A hefty 420 Denier nylon face fabric is bonded to a bright white TPU lining, giving it a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm, as well as exceptional abrasion, tear, and puncture resistance.
