Frequently Asked questions

Is the Ether Light XT Extreme Insulated Sleeping Pad warm enough for winter conditions and four-season use?

Absolutely. The tested R-Value of 6.2 of this sleeping pad and lack of internal air movement (which reduces heat loss) makes it perfect for colder temps and four-season use.

How much warmth does a Reactor Extreme add to a sleeping bag?

This depends on how well your sleeping bag retains warmth (not the same as its temperature rating), how well your pad insulates (not the same as its R-Value) and a lot of other factors. You should see a fairly solid boost if the liner is used with an appropriate sleeping bag and pad.

What's the difference between the Spark and the Spark Pro?

The Spark Pro has a footbox zipper and a short right-side zipper (great ventilation, open-flat as a quilt, sit up with arms extended from the bag)
