Sea to Summit Pty Ltd (Sea to Summit) was founded by Roland Tyson in 1991. The company started and continues to operate from Perth, Western Australia. Today, Sea to Summit has grown into an award-winning manufacturer of ingeniously designed omni-terrain outdoor gear ready to accompany you on your adventures.

Our drive for design perfection has allowed us to develop purposeful and functionally beautiful products with the perfect balance of weight, durability and packability. To do this, Sea to Summit works closely with its suppliers to achieve high quality products that meet the needs of the global adventurers who use our products.

Sea to Summit values each and every individual involved in our business, from those who work in our teams globally, to the individuals that work in the factories that we engage with.

The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (“Act”) requires manufacturers to disclose its efforts to eradicate slavery and human trafficking in their direct supply chain. This disclosure is intended to address the requirements of the Act.


Sea to Summit expects its suppliers to comply with its Code of Conduct which addresses issues concerning forced labour, debt bondage, slavery and human trafficking. Each year, we conduct an internal evaluation of our suppliers and country specific factors to evaluate and address risks of human trafficking and slavery. Sea to Summit does not engage a third party to verify, evaluate or address those risks.


Sea to Summit selects certain suppliers each year to be audited by an external third party auditor. This is to ensure that slavery, human trafficking and other issues such as forced labour, unfair wages and safety in the workplace are also compliant with local laws and Sea to Summit’s Code of Conduct.


We expect our suppliers to maintain records to certify that the materials incorporated into the product comply with laws regarding slavery and human trafficking. At a supplier level, this is addressed annually as part of Sea to Summit’s risk management and also as part of the audits when the supplier is selected for audit purposes.


Sea to Summit does not tolerate any form of human rights violation and the preservation of such rights and expectations are addressed with employees through internal policies. We provide training and guidance to our employees who are directly involved in the product supply chain to equip them in identifying and preventing slavery, human trafficking and other unfair/unlawful labour practices.
