Easy InflationAir Sleeping Pads

After clocking up miles on the trails, the last thing you want to do is breathlessly blow up a pad. And you don’t want lots of moisture from expelled breath in your pad, either. Our Air Sprung Cell pads have an Airstream Pumpsack integrated into the base of each stuff sack, making inflation quick and easy.

Harnessing the Bernoulli effect, this handy pump can inflate your pad in a couple of breaths—with minimal effort and condensation. Explore our range of lightweight camping and sleeping bag and pads online.

Frequently Asked questions

What’s the difference between an air sleeping pad and a self-inflating sleeping pad?

An air mat has to be manually inflated (perhaps with a pump), a self-inflating mat has a foam core which draws itself full of air and only needs a little extra inflation. Air mats are usually lighter; self-inflating mats are often quieter.

How do you inflate a Sea to Summit air sleeping pad?

Sea to Summit Air Sprung Cell mats have a pumpsack integrated into the stuffsack. Connect the pumpsack nozzle to the XPRESS valve and blow into the inflator bag: with practice, 4 – 5 breaths will inflate any Sea to Summit air mat.

What is Air Sprung Cell technology and how does it work?

Instead of baffles, Air Sprung Cell mats are subdivided into dozens of individual air-filled ‘springs’ or ‘Cells’. The very large number of suspension points provides stability and support in a way that baffles or large tube constructions simply cannot.
