Artboard 1

Featuring a women’s specific shape that is wider at the hip and narrower at the shoulder, the exterior anti-slip print ensures you don’t slip when sleeping on sloping ground. The multi-function reversible high flow-rate valve is designed specifically for self-inflating mats and allows fast and easy inflation and deflation. It also guarantees no more fighting re-inflation as you roll up your mat!

  • Anti-slip print on base of mat, helps hold your mat in place when camping on sloping ground is unavoidable
  • Large horizontal triangular cores reduce the weight and bulk without sacrificing support and comfort
  • Diagonal supporting foam walls help inflate the mattress and creates a more compact rolled mat
  • 8cm thick
  • Multi-function high flow-rate valve provides fast inflate, deflate and easy fine-tuning for personalised comfort
  • Included Pillow Lock™ system attaches Sea to Summit pillows to mat

Smaller Delta Cores™ under the torso keeps more insulating PU foam intact, creating a warmer core body zone and greater insulation from the outside elements.

  • Delta Core™ Technology: large horizontal triangular cores reduce the weight and bulk without sacrificing support and comfort
  • PU foam is thicker on top of each Delta Core™ for better insulation directly under you. It also keeps top and bottom surface of foam intact ensuring consistent warmth along entire length of the mat and better bonding with shell fabrics
  • Luxurious 30D stretch knit fabric for a soft next to skin feeling on top
  • Lightweight 30D polyester with extrusion laminated TPU used on base
  • Mat: 100% Polyester with TPU lamination; Valve 100% TPU; Insulation: 100% Polyurethane foam; Stuff Sack: 100% Polyester
Engineered for Women

Using anthropometric data to reveal how best to cater for a woman’s size and weight distribution, the way they store heat and the way they sleep (on their side, mostly), our women’s specific mats are wider from hip to knee and narrower at the shoulder. A thicker THERMOLITE® layer in our women’s air mats and a unique Delta Core™ profile in our women’s self inflating mats translates to warmer core body zones.

Delta Core

Our Delta Core technique is a truly innovative approach to reducing the weight and bulk of the polyurethane (PU) foam core of our Self-Inflating mattresses Our patent pending coring process removes up to 40% of the initial volume of the PU foam, retaining enough for optimal support and comfort, while minimising the packed weight and size of the final mattress. Importantly, this coring technique has the additional benefit of keeping the top and bottom surface of the PU foam completely intact. This ensures consistent warmth along the full length of the mattress, avoiding the vertical holes or frame-like gaps that have traditionally allowed warmth to leach downwards. The full foam surface also provides significantly improved bonding of the foam to the shell fabrics of the mattress, thereby greatly reducing the chance of delamination. The shape and size of the Delta Cores are adjusted across the different thicknesses of our mattresses to ensure strength and durability, while still giving the user excellent support and self-inflating performance. The horizontal Delta Coring technique is used in our Comfort Light SI, Comfort Plus SI and Comfort Deluxe SI models.

Anti-slip Silicone Print

Ever woken up cold because you slipped off your sleeping mat in the middle of the night? Not any more.

Anti-slip silicone print patterns to help your sleeping bag stick to your mat, and your mat to the tent floor.

Multi-Function S.I. Valve

We have literally put a new twist on our very successful multi-function valve so it specifically addresses the inherent characteristic of self-inflating mats-that is, the problem of the foam trying to re-inflate as you’re packing up.

We’ve engineered the “one-way” inflation valve to be reversible and used it to prevent the mat from drawing air back in. this allows you to roll the mat up as small as possible without fighting re-inflation as you go. This patent-pending valve design has the same slim profile, faster inflation than traditional screw valves, easy pressure fine-tuning and super-fast deflation rate as our air mattresses and pillow.

PillowLock™ System

Easily secure your Sea to Summit pillow to your Sea to Summit mat for a slip-free sleep.

Designed to keep your pillow exactly where its meant to be—on your sleeping mat—our unique PillowLock™ hook-and-loop fastener patches come standard with all our mats from mid-2019.

ASTM F3340-18 R-values are the industry standard of determining resistance to heat loss for sleeping mats.

Sea to Summit gets their sleeping mats independently tested at the EMPA laboratories in Switzerland. In the test, R-values (resistance to heat flow) are measured by placing a hot plate on one side of a sleeping mat and a cold plate on the other. Electronic sensors then determine how much energy it takes to keep the hot plate at a consistent body heat.

As of 1 January, 2020, we will be using the new industry standard ASTM F3340-18 test to provide R-values for our mats. This new method of testing the insulative properties of sleeping mats will see some changes to our previously published R-values. It’s important to note that where these values change, it doesn’t signify a drop or increase in warmth—it simply means they have been tested using a slightly different scale.
