Sprint 20L Drypack

Combining a mix of 420D nylon on the base for abrasion resistance, and TPU laminated 210D nylon in the main compartment to reduce weight, the Sprint 20L DryPack offers waterproof performance in a sleek and slimline package. To maintain the balance between weight and performance we have created a lightweight 3D mesh harness which still offers amazing ventilation and carrying comfort. The Sprint DryPack is seam sealed throughout, and fastened with a non-wicking roll top closure for maximum waterproof performance. An internal zippered pocket and supplied bungee cord rounds out the package.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Hypalon®

Hypalon®

The hypalon fabric is a synthetic rubber fabric which is reiforced by a woven nylon mesh . The fabric is completely waterproof, does not wick moisture and is highly abrasion resistant. It is soft enough to be sewn through and can be manufacuted in different thicknesses and strengths for differernt applications . Hypalon is used in our dry bag, dry pack, and pack liners to help seal off the roll top closure and prevent water from wicking in through the roll top . Hypalon is used as a trim material in our travelling light range as grab tabs for our zippers. They provide a good level of stiffness without the weight or bulk of webbing while also being impervious to water . We also use hypalon to protect high wear areas and fashion structural anchor points where webbing anchors maybe too bulky or limiting.

Silicone

Silicone rubbers or more accurately polysiloxanes are inorganic elastomers with unique properties. The molecular structure is contains Silicone atoms in the backbones as opposed to carbon atoms in most organic polymers and plastics. This makes silicones highly elastic and chemically inert. Silicone rubbers are best at retaining and regaining the original shape after deformation and thus are an ideal choice for resilient components. Silicones are also much more chemically inert and heat resistant as compared to organic polymers. This makes silicones safe for food contact applications and therefore we chose these to invent our X Series range of collapsible kitchenware for outdoor use. Silicones retain their elasticity and food safe properties even after being subject to temperatures in excess of 200 degrees C. The silicones used in our X series range of products are compliant to the food safety standards across the world and being chemically passive do not retain food odours.
